Mike was born and raised in Winthrop Harbor and is the second generation working in the auto repair business. His father Al opened an auto repair shop back in the early 1970's, where Mike started working at the tender age of 8 years old. Mike has attended technical and business schools across the nation ensuring that he was well equipped to take over the family business when Al retired back in 2000. Mike is ASE Master certified, a member of the iATN, ASA and a recurrent board Member of SCCA. Mike and his wife Linda, moved the business to their Sheridan Road location in April of 2004 and are very happy to be back, providing auto service to many friends, old and new.

Linda is co-owner of Alexander's Auto Care. She was born and raised in Glenview, IL and attended Loyola University, receiving her business degree in Marketing. She works part-tie now at the shop and enjoys visiting with the customers and keeping the boys in line. Linda is very active at St. Mark's Lutheran church in Waukegan and is the current president of the Winthrop Harbor Chamber of Commerce.
